Membership
Membership is open to all who are keen in the science of hydrology and willing to participate in various activities of MHS.
There are four classes of membership :
(a) Honorary Members comprising of persons distinguished in public life or by service to the Society. Honorary memberships shall only be conferred by the Executive Committee.
(b) Corporate Members comprising of governmental, quasi-governmental, private organisations and educational institutions who are interested or involved in hydrology or related activities.
(c) Ordinary Members comprising of individuals of at least 18 years of age subscribing to the objectives of the Society.
(d) Student Members from educational institutions who are interested and involved in the field of hydrology and related matters provided that a university or university-college student shall not be eligible for membership unless with prior approval of the Vice-Chancellor concerned.
Entrance Fees and Subscriptions
(1) The entrance fees for membership in each grade :
Honorary member Exempted
Corporate member RM500.00
Ordinary member RM20.00
Student member RM10.00
(2) The annual subscription for membership in each grade of the Society :
Honorary member Exempted
Corporate member RM250.00
Ordinary member RM20.00
Student member RM10.00
(2) Life membership may also be offered to corporate and ordinary members on payment of the prescribed life membership subscription:
Life Corporate member RM2500.00
Life Ordinary member RM200.00

Kindly inform the secretary should there be changes to your membership particulars.
MHS is still offering to ordinary members to upgrade their membership status to life membership by full remittance of the difference between the annual fee paid to date and the life member fee (RM 200 for ordinary life member and RM 2500 for life corporate member).
